Covid-19

Dear friends, these are worrying moments for us all. As Christians we want to ensure we stay connected with each other, our town and with the word of God. Every day at 12:30pm we will be broadcasting a 'thought for the day' to encourage and comfort and to bring God's word into this situation. On Sunday's we will be streaming our service live as usual. Services will be online only and no gathering in the Church building.

Please share, watch and comment. God bless.

All Gatherings

The last few weeks have been unexpected and, for many, deeply worrying. The news around Covid 19 changes daily and it would seem that the next few months are going to present us all with a great many challenges. Sadly, the latest advice from the Government regarding gatherings of people, has presented us as a Church leadership with a very difficult set of decisions to make. It is with a great sadness that all Church ministries, including our morning services, will be shut. These closures are to keep to Government guidelines and we will continually review the situation. I have pasted the guidelines from the Government below:

Recent onset of a new, continuous cough and/or high temperature.

For most people, coronavirus (COVID-19) will be a mild infection.

If you have symptoms, however mild, stay at home and do not leave your house for 7 days from when your symptoms started. This action will help protect others in your community whilst you are infectious.

Plan ahead and ask others for help to ensure that you can successfully stay at home.

Ask your employer, friends and family to help you to get the things you need to stay at home.

Stay at least 2 metres (about 3 steps) away from other people in your home, whenever possible.

Sleep alone, if that is possible.

Wash your hands regularly for 20 seconds, each time using soap and water.

Stay away from vulnerable individuals such as the elderly and those with underlying health conditions as much as possible.

You do not need to call NHS111 to go into self-isolation. If your symptoms worsen during home isolation or are no better after 7 days contact NHS 111 online. If you have no internet access, you should call NHS 111. For a medical emergency dial 999.
